What's the iFriends ID CARD?

Your iFriends ID Card acts as your "18+ ID Card" on iFriends. Once you've got "the card", you can use it to do anything you want to do on the iFriends platform, without having to prove -- over and over and over again -- that you are of legal age. Once you've got "the card", you never have to prove to iFriends that you are over 18 again.

If you appear on iFriends (individual ID Card), or you represent others that appear on iFriends (representative ID card), you must obtain your ID Card by filling out a quick online form, and prove that you are of legal age, by submitting a documentation package to iFriends. (You can obtain preliminary, same-day approval for your iFriends ID Card by using your PC to upload all important documents; some documents can even be sent by fax)

iFriends created the ID Card to solve a problem that has long annoyed chathosts: Duplicative and redundant submission of proof-of-age documentation.

Before developing the ID Card concept, here's how it used to work: If a chathost discontinued using one VCH screenname, and created a new VCH screenname, iFriends would require that an entirely new documentation package be submitted to support the new screenname, even if both the new and the old screennames were owned by the same person. New paperwork, new age releases, new photo ID  . . . .the whole kit and kaboodle. Same deal if a chathost decided to host live sessions under one screenname, but replays or other special sessions under a new screenname – Still more repetitive and redundant documentation. In other words, before the ID Card became available, iFriends required complete documentation packages for each VCH screenname ... for some chathosts, it was a redundant and duplicative system that was extremely cumbersome and frustrating.

But those days are over. Now it's easy street. With your new ID Card, it doesn't get any simpler: You submit your proof-of-age documentation just once -- no matter how many screennames you have, or how many participant handles you have under those screennames. That's because your proof-of-age documentation package is supports your ID Card, rather than with any particular VCH screenname or participant handle. And you can attach your ID Card to any VCH screenname or participant handle that you create or control, thereby ensuring instant activation!

Here's another way of looking at it: Your ID Card is not just only an "18+ ID Card", it also acts as the glue that holds all of your VCH Screennames, Participant Handles, and your proof-of-age documentation together.

In the end, your iFriends ID Card makes life on iFriends easier -- and more rewarding. (Make that a lot easier and more rewarding!)
